PALMER, AK.  Left Kenai a day early to drive into Anchorage to have our motorhome's front-end realigned, front wheels rebalanced, and rotated front-to-back.  The man at the service center said that he saw a lot of this with motorhomes that have driven through British Columbia and Yukon Territory.  Terrible roads do real damage.

We were able to drive on here by 7 pm. This park is open until 9 pm, so I was able to drive in, get our propane refilled, and park a day ahead of the rest of the tour.  We hear that the mountains in view to the north are magnificent in the winter.  I'll pass on viewing that.
