FAIRBANKS, AK (Day 2).  Spent the day at Pioneer Park with the tour group.  We saw the exhibits, then had a meal and after-dinner show about Fairbanks provided by locals.  The emphasis was on how cold it gets and the need for an outhouse due to poor plumbing with all the frost heaves.
