BANTAM, CT. It rained lightly all night our last night in Saco. We left in a light rain, which turned into a steadily harder rain as we traveled through Massachusetts and Connecticut. By the time we got here in Bantam, we were quite weary of rain. Then we had to unhitch our Jeep in the rain because of the bad layout of this park which precluded towing anything through the obstacle course. And we paid extra to keep from unhitching overnight. Now in the morning we must drive back out separately and hitch back up in tight quarters at the front of the park. Another example of misrepresentation on a web site. We shall never stay here again.
However, we are safe and warm inside now, wearing dry clothes as we do laundry and prepare supper. Tomorrow will be a new adventure, hopefully in dryer weather.
