ESSEX JUNCTION, VT Day 4. Our final day here and good news! After begging for attention to our need to have our hydraulic system fixed, pleading that we would not be able to leave tomorrow as the rally ends, our request was reclassified as an emergency. Within minutes the Tiffin mechanics pulled up to our motorhome with their large trailer full of tools and parts. They were visibly not pleased to have an emergency interrupt what they were doing, and when I attempted to demonstrate that the slides would not go in, the slides dutifully went right on in, leaving me looking quite foolish. The jacks also performed flawlessly, so I had to recount the many episodes where the system had failed. Finally they relented and replaced both solenoid switches to ensure good performance in the future. Another whew!
Before that, the AC man returned and fixed the noise problem in the back AC unit. Now both AC units work fine for both cooling and reverse cycle heating. Along with the fixed hydraulic system, that makes two of the three requests we had made for service. The third request was to get cable TV to work, but the fairgrounds where we are staying has no cable service, so there would be no way to work on nonexistent cable TV. We are relieved and thrilled to have accomplished two out of three.
Then in mid-afternoon, the unexpected happened. The sun actually came out for long periods at a time. I managed to grab some quick photos.

Tonight is our farewell supper, followed by some kind of entertainment. The last two nights' entertainment were so-so.
Tomorrow the mass exodus of motorhomes takes place. Should be interesting.
