CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA.  It was another short drive to the Charlottesville KOA.  We followed the GPS here, which led us on a hair-raising ride.  The two roads we followed, Old Lynchburg Road and Red Hill Road, are narrow, winding, up-and-down roads with low-hanging tree branches.

I complained to the manager of the KOA once we arrived here.  She said we came in from the wrong direction.  So tomorrow we shall take it the opposite direction and compare the experience. 

Anyway, we are settled in, safe and sound.  Tomorrow we shall visit Monticello and other surrounding historical attractions.  The fall colors are beginning to appear around here, as you can see from the photo below.
