MILLERSVILLE, MD.  It was a short drive to the Washington KOA today.  An old park that in recent years turned space in the parking lot across from the office into sites for large motorhomes.  Not as scenic here as down into the woodsy part, but down there the sites are not very level and much of the area is devoted now to cabins, trailers, and tents.  The roads leading here are very confusing, and both GPS devices led us astray, eventually leading us through neighborhoods with low overhanging tree branches that we had to dodge along the way.  We finally arrived here with only a couple small twigs caught on the roof.

There is a small gift shop in the KOA office, with some presidential items for sale at high prices, but that is like everything else in this area.  You can tell that this is a Democrat-leaning area, since most of these items favor that party.  Only three presidential "action figures" were for sale (see below).

Tomorrow we shall visit museums in Washington.  It is good not to be hampered by concerns about a malfunctioning motorhome; however, the Jeep is now making noises that sound like worn out brakes.  We have made an appointment to have it serviced in Chantilly, VA when we get down there on Friday.
